Competition entry for DesignBUILD Raw 2017

Date

2017

The project involved creating designs for a theatre space and hub for DesignBUILD's expo, using locally sourced, responsibly certified materials that could be repurposed after the event for charitable organizations. The team aimed to achieve simplicity of design with functional dual purpose, using CNC Laser cut pre-fabricated, flat-design to be assembled on-site. They also contacted The Samaritans to find out what supplies they needed, which they integrated into their design. The team continued to iterate and improve the design, resulting in a minimal and efficient flat-pack design that met the brief objectives of collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and compliance.
